Iran’s short film ‘Dayan’ to vie at DISFF in Croatia

Iran’s short film ‘Dayan’ has been set to compete at the 2019 edition of the Diversions International Short Film Festival in Croatia.

Written and directed by Foroud Avazpour, ‘Dayan’ is vying for Diversions Grand Prix for best film in the festival's official selection.

The film's participation at the DISFF marks its 12th international appearance.

‘Dayan’ is starring Mahmoud Nazaralian, Leila Qadirian, Sadeq Molaee, Narges Rezaee and Zhila Ojaqi.

The DISFF promotes the values of short film and cinema in general which are widely accentuated by freedom of speech, expression, and art.

The Croatian event aims to raise culture and cultural awareness in order to benefit the local community and filmmakers.

The 6th edition of the DISFF will take place in Sveti Ivan Zelina and Zagreb in Croatia on June 10-16, 2019.
